1. Use Your Net to Clean an Above-Ground Pool
The first and easiest step you can take to clean an above-ground pool is to use your net to skim the top of the water. This will remove any large and unwanted debris from your pool and allow your filter to not work quite as hard.
2. Use Your Brush to Clean an Above-Ground Pool
After skimming the water, you will use your brush to remove any buildup from the walls of the pool. Using your brush to clean an above-ground pool will ensure things like algae don’t start growing, and your pool will stay cleaner.
3. Use a Vaccum to Clean an Above-Ground Pool

5. Use a Test Strip or Test Kit to Check Your Water Chemistry
Now you are ready to test the water in your pool. You can use a test strip or kit, or take a water sample to your local Doughboy dealer for testing.
Whatever your choice, the results on the test strip to determine which water care items are needed. Add those to clean an above-ground pool.
6. Use Shock to Clean an Above-Ground Pool
You will also use shock once a week to clean an above-ground pool. Using shock puts a large dose of sanitizer in your water to make sure anything unwanted isn’t growing.
Make sure to keep this on hand for regular use so that your pool is always clean when you want it.
7. Repeat These Steps Regularly to Clean an Above-Ground Pool
