Doughboy’s In-Wall Entry System, In-Pool Steps, and Pool Ladders
Doughboy’s patented In Wall Entry System is a heavy-duty staircase that is installed into a prepared opening in the pool wall. This helps the pool look and function more like an inground pool because the steps are able to cross the threshold of the pool wall. The In Wall Entry System can be installed on a fully recessed Doughboy Pool or an Above-Ground Doughboy Pool surrounded by a wooden deck.

In-Pool Step Systems: removable stair units with railings specially designed to fit either inside a recessed pool or over the wall of an above-ground pool.
Pool Ladders: sturdy, weather resistant ladders designed for above ground pools with sidewalls measuring between 48 inches and 54 inches.

Steel Pool and Resin Pool Frames
Whether your Doughboy Pool’s frame is made from steel or resin, you can rest assured that it is built to last. However, we understand that you may wonder what the difference is between the two. Ultimately, it comes down to the raw materials with which the frames are built.
Doughboy’s Steel Frames are made with Epoxy Coated, Zinc Clad™ 11000 Hot Dipped Galvanized Copper Bearing Steel. To ensure maximum strength, this steel is formulated to be heavier than industry standards and is treated with a 7-step protective coating process for maximum strength. This process provides a comprehensive anti-corrosion treatment, high durability, and protection against condensation.
Doughboy’s Resin Frames are made from extruded, strong resin. This material allows for a smooth finish on the pool frame’s hardware with no exposed seams or screws. In addition to enabling a smooth finish, our resin formula provides superb structural support and protection against impact blemishes (e.g., chipping and scratching).
