Our journey began with Domain Industries, a company whose packing machinery operation first gained worldwide recognition during World War I for perfecting the rubber sealing techniques that was used to package food rations for American Soldiers (nicknamed The "Doughboys").
In 1947, the company rebranded its packaging machinery operation as The Doughboy Plastics Division and entered the realm of outdoor family entertainment. What began as an operation that produced inflatable splasher pools, beach balls, and toys evolved into America’s leading source of high-quality above-ground pools, recessed pools, and lap pools.
We are proud to enrich the backyard living market with American-made products, available from an authorized Doughboy Dealer or Doughboy Customer Service, while providing American jobs. We continue to create pioneering product designs and develop innovative solutions thanks to our state-of-the-art engineering and production methods. Our team of dedicated professionals operates with a family-oriented philosophy whether it’s in production, sales, or management.
